Sat 12/3-Sun 12/4: The Renegade Holiday Craft Fair, the off-season edition of the art market taking place at the Bridgeport Art Center (1200 W. 35th), offers chilly Chicagoans the opportunity to peruse some handcrafted goodies without freezing to death. There’s music, drinks, and snacks, too. 11 AM-6 PM

Sun 12/4: The holiday-themed bar hop the Reindeer Crawl starts with brunch at D.S. Tequila (3352 N. Halsted) then moves through Boystown. 11 AM Sun 12/4: Moscow Ballet presents their traditional Russian adaptation of the holiday classic The Nutcracker at Rosemont Theater (5400 N. River, Rosemont). 1 and 5 PM
