  • Planned Parenthood’s services are in demand in Illinois after Trump victory

There has been a 50 percent increase in requests for birth control services at local Planned Parenthood offices since Donald Trump won the presidential election last week. Women are likely worried about the future of President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act under a Trump administration, according to Katie Thiede, vice president of development for Planned Parenthood of Illinois. The organization has added more appointments in order to meet the demand. [WBEZ]
