This year he’s migrated to Fourth Presbyterian Church (126 E. Chestnut) for a four-night residency. 8 PM, sold outTue 12/12: Just What I Needed author and Reader contributor John Corbett comes to the Hopleaf (5148 N. Clark) to read from his forthcoming memoir­-slash-music criticism collection Pick Up the Pieces: Excursions in Seventies Music, and Oobleckians Diana Slickman and Terri Kapsalis perform part of the play featured in the book. 7 PM, free
